Successful candidates should have a familiarity with radio broadcast operations including maintenance of broadcast automation and studio equipment, RF equipment and computer/IT skills. This is a service oriented position requiring excellent written and oral communication, personable interaction with fellow employees and organizational skills. You must be able to work independently and as a team member.

Occasional night and weekend work is expected and must be on-call and available to respond 24/7. You must be able to climb ladders, work in small spaces and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. For consideration you must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an excellent driving record.  A minimum of 5 years experience is required. SBE certification is a plus.

AJA v10.2 “X Beta” drivers are now available for download, enabling Io XT and the latest KONA cards to be used with the new beta broadcast monitoring feature available in Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3. Support for Io Express and Io HD is coming soon.

AJA has prepared a document that explains how editors can use AJA products with this latest version of Final Cut Pro X. Please click here to download the PDF document by itself. For tape-based capture and playback of Final Cut Pro X material, AJA offers the AJA VTR Xchange application.

DBU Chooses EAR Professional Audio/Video for AVID Audio System Design, Integration and Equipment Supply

In a recent Educational focused issue of Mix Magazine, Dallas Baptist University was chosen as a premier national audio education facility. EAR Professional Audio/Video was selected for system design, Integration and equipment fulfillment for their newly constructed Horner Music Hall Recording Studio. The new complex was designed by Russ Berger Design Group.

This new all new facility features a first floor complex with a main surround control room, Production A and B control rooms, each fully integrated with studios and a central machine room. Each of the three independent control room environments feature AVID Audio Pro Tools HD systems with AVID ICON control surfaces including D-Control ES and C|24 models.

The Pro Tools file based workflow is designed for collaboration between each of the control rooms, depending on various project and curriculum objectives including film scoring, Foley, music recording, and music composition.
