Cache-A’s automated library option for Pro-Cache4 and Pro-Cache5 provides users with a capacity of 36 Terabytes for Pro-Cache5 and 19 Terabytes for Pro-Cache4.

This convenient and easy to deploy library option automates cartridge loading for archiving, restoring and cartridge spanning when archiving large projects. The drive in the Pro-Cache is still available for accessing content on shelf stored cartridges while simultaneously archiving to the library.

Adding a Library24 to your Pro-Cache unit provides the ultimate in dual drive system flexibility. Two LTO drives means concurrent access to both Library and Pro-Cache tape volumes for twice the archiving power. The LTO drive in the Pro-Cache is always available for restoring or archiving shelf-stored content and you can simultaneously archive or restore with the Library drive.
