With this new version, Avid® DS 10.5 introduces a fully featured Avid® DS product as a software-only solution. Avid® DS 10.5 software only comes in at the incredible price of $9995 USD (or local currency equivalent; see full pricing table in attached bulletin). The DS 10.5 turnkey system with full hardware I/O is still available and includes the AJA Kona 3, CPU, storage and other components. To add even more value and workflow, every Avid® DS 10.5 supports full conform from Media Composer 5 and ships with a copy of Media Composer 5 software.
